The government watchdog agency says the federal runaway and homeless youth grant program needs work, reports Youth Today’s John Kelly. In a report issued last week, the Government Accountability Office found that the Family and Youth Services Bureau – part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – should improve what is now an uneven process for awarding its funding, which goes to organizations that support vulnerable youth.
