Child Welfare

A Nebraska advocacy group called on the state to halt its efforts to privatize child welfare services, reports Martha Stoddard of the Omaha World-Herald.


Doug Lederman of Inside Higher Ed reports on the $5 billion from Obama’s jobs plan that will fund construction and renovation for community colleges and public schools. The Education Department would administer the infrastructure program, Lederman reports.
