A Look at College Dropout Factories

“Nationwide, low-income minority students are disproportionately steered toward colleges not where they’re most likely to succeed, but where they’re most likely to fail,” says Washington Monthly in a new story about “College Dropout Factories.” The story looks why some colleges have horrendous graduation rates, focusing on one of the worst  – Chicago State University, where the rate is 12.79 percent.
