Teens Get More Exposure Than They Intended

San Francisco Chronicle

Some youths are using their cell phone cameras to send nude photographs of themselves to boyfriends or girlfriends, occasionally resulting in legal consequences. The pictures are often passed on to others, or posted on the Internet, which has led to the prosecution of youths as young as age 16 in several states. Schools have confiscated phones in order to halt the distribution of such pictures. While some psychologists say the phenomenon is just an example of youthful hormones, others say it’s an example of youthful exhibitionism. June 5, http://www.sfgate.com.
