Youth Today is funded by subscribers, advertisers, foundation grants and individual donations. Some grants do support specific areas of coverage, such as youth with disabilities or child welfare and foster care. However, these grants are awarded with the understanding that the funding does not affect which programs we cover or what we report about them.

All editorial decisions are independently made by Youth Today staff. Donors and advertisers do not assign, review or edit content.
