THIS GRANT’S FOCUS: Child Health, Pediatrics, Research, Child Development, Healthcare, New England
Deadline: Sept. 22, 2021
“… The Hood Foundation is singularly focused on improving the health and well-being of children. In the projects supported, The Hood Foundation seeks out cutting edge research and initiatives in the critical phases of development that may have higher risk, but also have the potential for greater impact. The Foundation looks to fill gaps in the medical research and innovation funding marketplace to springboard the next generation of cutting-edge scientific leaders and advancements in pediatric health.
The intent of the Child Health Research Awards Program is to support newly independent faculty, provide the opportunity to demonstrate creativity, and assist in the transition to other sources of research funding. Clinical, basic science, public health, health services research, and epidemiology projects must be hypothesis-driven with direct relevance to child health. Applicants must complete an impact statement describing the implications of their work. Basic science projects will describe project’s relevance to child health or disease.”
