“In 2026, Empowerment Grants will provide two years of flexible funding support for programs, projects, or initiatives that are based within our geographic footprint and align with at least one of our funding priorities and the corresponding areas of interest. Grants must demonstrate community enhancement and meaningful impact over the grant term. Funding Priorites:
Education: Quality education to build the skills needed to participate fully in the community. Specifically: Community colleges, and special education services (K-college).
Human Services: Social safety nets to support vulnerable populations in times of greatest need. Specifically: Housing assistance, Food security, healthcare access for un-/underinsured, and youth mental health services.
Workforce Development: Career opportunities and skills development to support pathways to economic self-sufficiency. Specifically: Vocational programs, employment supports, and reentry programs.”
Funder: Provident Bank Foundation
Eligibility: Nonprofit 501(c)3 AND 509(a)1 or 509(a)2 organizations in operation for 2+ years. Organizations must do work within the funder’s geographic footprint.
Amount: $5,000 – $10,000 or $10,000 – $25,000
