THIS GRANT’S FOCUS: Childcare/Healthcare Access, Youth Development/Education, Affordable Housing, Massachusetts
Deadline:
May 12, 2026

“The Amelia Peabody Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts that enhance the vitality of the community and strengthen the lives of children and families. The Foundation’s support reflects its interest in comprehensive services that enable underserved children and their families to gain education, become self-sufficient, and provide workforce development to move toward the goal of family stability. Through youth development support, Foundation grants focus on pre-school through secondary education enrichment programs. Through family stabilization support, Foundation grants focus on homelessness, food insecurity, and workforce development training programs.

The Foundation has a special concern for funding programs operating across the Commonwealth, primarily outside Greater Boston, through operating, program, and capital grants… The Foundation seeks to build relationships with nonprofit organizations and other community leaders and provide flexible funding with a bias toward capacity building. The Foundation is targeting three specific priority areas for capital funds: (1) increasing access to childcare for low-income families; (2) increasing access to healthcare through community health centers or other community-based interventions; and (3) creating shelter/affordable housing.”
