“This NOFA seeks research proposals for estimating the incidence and prevalence of youth homelessness, per section 345 of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act. The objective of this research is to meet the requirements for youth research activities authorized under Section 345 of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act, which calls for “using the best quantitative and qualitative social science research methods available to produce estimates of the incidence and prevalence of runaway and homeless individuals who are not less than 13 years of age but are less than 26 years of age; and … that includes with such estimate an assessment of the characteristics of such individuals…”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, for profit organizations, small businesses, private institutions of higher education, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, city or township governments, county governments, state governments, special district governments, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, independent school districts, Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized).
