Join the Largest Global Convening for After School, Expanded Learning, and Out-of-School-Time Professionals

The BOOST Conference is the largest, most recognized, and comprehensive global convening for after school, expanded learning, and out-of-school time professionals. Set in a retreat-like atmosphere in Palm Springs, CA, this extraordinary annual event will rejuvenate your passion, boost your creativity for quality programming, and provide tools and resources that will inspire you to create change.

We invite you to join us, and 2,500 global educators April 30-May 3, 2019 to inspire youth, inspire learning, and inspire change.

This year, BOOST is excited to welcome two impactful keynote speakers, Dr. Shawn Ginwright and Dr. Bertice Berry, to the stage. Dr. Shawn Ginwright is an Associate Professor of Education in the Africana Studies Department, and Senior Research Associate for the Cesar Chavez Institute for Public Policy at San Francisco State University. Dr. Ginwright will talk with BOOST attendees about radical healing and community change, providing practical strategies and activities that can be used to improve school climate, restore the social-emotional health, and establish equity in schools and youth-serving agencies.

Dr. Bertice Berry is a best-selling author and award-winning lecturer who has been named Comedian of The Year, Lecturer of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. She has published 11 best-selling books in both fiction and non-fiction and has won numerous awards and accolades for both her writing and presentations.

BOOST Conference offers more than 150 exceptional workshops to help you learn and grow, and introduces the latest trends and research in innovative and quality out-of-school time programming. BOOST also offers opportunities for targeted conversations and learning through Inspiration Station workshops, Master Classes taught by world-class experts in their discipline, BOOST Nation: Town Hall meetings with national leaders and public figures, and our BOOST Film Festival that screens films highlighting topics relevant to education and issues relating to today’s youth.

BOOST is also offering three Pre-Conference Academies to support a deep dive into your learning experience. Mental Health First Aid, SEL certification, and FISH! For Schools will be offered on Tuesday, April 30th.

Don’t miss out on the BOOST Exhibit Hall, where you’ll connect with over 100 Exhibitors sharing the newest resources, products, and services to enhance your programs. Camp Inspire workshops and Exhibitor Showcase workshop sessions provide hands-on learning experience with the latest innovations in expanded learning.

While we take learning very seriously at BOOST, we also like to have fun! Connect with colleagues and meet new friends at any of our special events hosted throughout the week.

Standard registration rates of $500 for the BOOST Conference are available until March 31. Pre-registration ends on April 15. For more information visit
