Eligibility: “Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education. A national organization is defined as a non-profit entity or consortium that has on-going experience in rural housing, including experience working with rural housing development organizations, community development corporations (CDCs), community housing development organizations (CHDOs), local governments, and Indian tribes, as evidenced by past and continuing work in one or more states in five or more of the federal regions”
