After-school science learning gets more attention – this time involving programs for both boys and girls – in this new searchable database of sites that assess out-of-school science programs. The Harvard University-McLean Hospital-developed database includes descriptions of each program, along with user and editorial reviews, and invites users to add their own reviews to the list. The site is operated by the Society for Research in Child Development, a nonprofit professional association representing 5,500 members who are in the human development field.
