“This NOFO will support four regional CACs that will deliver coordinated training and technical assistance to improve the investigation and prosecution of child abuse and neglect and the provision of services to child victims and their families. The Victims of Child Abuse Act (VOCA) provides for the establishment of regional children’s advocacy centers (RCACs) to deliver coordinated information, resource development, technical assistance, and training to assist communities in establishing facility-based multidisciplinary programs that respond to child abuse and neglect. This program will fund four RCACs—one in each of the four U.S. Census regions*— to improve the response to child abuse and neglect through strategic coordinated training and assistance to multidisciplinary teams, local CACs, and state chapter organizations.”
