A hot trend for some of today’s youth is not a pair of jeans or a hairstyle; it’s piety. Clergy from various religions say there is a new small wave of young adults who are distinctly more devout than their parents filing into churches and temples. Mari Beth Nolan, for example, grew up a “Christmas and Easter” Catholic, but turned to Franciscanism after a disjointing divorce and cross-country move.
