“The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) FY 2016 Juvenile Justice Emergency Planning Demonstration Program will provide resources for state, tribal, local, municipal and community organizations to develop, strengthen and implement emergency preparedness plans for juvenile justice facilities. These plans should be based upon the principles outlined in Emergency Planning for Juvenile Justice Residential Facilities, and should address the specific needs of children, youth, and families involved in the justice system, during an emergency.”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), city or township governments, county governments, for profit organizations other than small businesses, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, small businesses, state governments, private institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), others.
Amount: $50,000 – $150,000
