Girl Power:  WHYY Afterschool

This video describes two gender-based afterschool programs in Philadelphia whose program design focuses on body image, self-image, and breaking stereotypes.

On the Line:  ELA Summer Theater Camp

A summer school program that engages middle school students taking English Language Arts using theater as a venue for self-expression. The students write their own poetry, songs, monologues, and narratives to create a collaborative theater performance for their peers at the end of the summer school session.
