A growing collection of lesson plans and activities is aimed at youth workers engaged in education or literacy endeavors. The site features thousands of resources and materials (searchable by topic) from such organizations as the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the National Geographic Society and the National Center for Family Literacy. The site should improve, because its backer, Verizon, recently committed an additional $31 million to develop it.
