“America for Dummies,” directed by Niaz Mosharraf, and produced by Reel Works Teen Filmmaking, is a roughly eight-minute documentary that won the Youth Voice Award for the Eighth Annual Media That Matters Film Festival, sponsored by Arts Engine, Inc. The festival concludes May 2009.
According to a statement by Mosharraf, the film is a quest to uncover why citizens are ignorant and apathetic, even in a post-9/11 atmosphere.
