Colorado K-12 Assistive Education Technology Grants

Subject: Education, Special Education, Literacy, Dyslexia
Deadline: Mar. 1, 2019

“The IDA Rocky Mountain Branch provides Assistive Technology* grants to schools! Grants will be awarded to accredited Colorado K-12 educational institutions for assistive technology devices, services, and teacher training for students with dyslexia, language, and literacy challenges. Grants must be used for educational purposes. The aim of the IDA-RMB AT Grant is to provide funds for K-12 institutions to pilot assistive technology programs for their dyslexic population. Although the grant is offered yearly, it can not be awarded to the same program two years in a row. Our hope is that the successes shown by the pilot will give schools the data needed to secure more permanent funding.”

Funder: The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) – Rocky Mountain Branch
Eligibility: Accredited Colorado K-12 educational institutions.
Amount: “Typical awards are $1,000-$2,500. Matching funds from PTO, PTA, or other school community groups are always welcome to increase the total of your grant request.”
