“The Humana Foundation and Greater Louisville Inc. seek to help Greater Louisville region mental health providers small businesses* to scale up their practice operations to sustainably increase services to victims of trauma in our city. Grants between $50,000 and $100,000 will be awarded to mental health services providers who propose projects that enable them to significantly increase the number of people who are receiving mental health services. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to execute a project that will deliver evidence-based mental health services as well as how the proposed plan will result in more people receiving mental health care.
Priority will be given to applicants who commit to addressing categories of mental health that have significant shortages, such as psychologists, psychiatrists, youth counselors, and applicants who prioritize mental health care to diverse and underrepresented populations. Additional priority will be given to projects which demonstrate potential for scalability and sustainability across the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana region. The project period is one year.”
