“The Community Food Projects Competitive Grant Program (CFPCGP) is intended to bring together stakeholders from distinct parts of the food system and to foster understanding of national food security trends and how they might improve local food systems. Understanding that low-income individuals experience disproportionate access to healthy foods, projects are to address food and nutrition insecurity, particularly among our nation’s most vulnerable populations.
The CFPCGP intends to solicit applications and fund three types of grants. The grant types are entitled (1) Training and Technical Assistance (T&TA) Projects, (2) Planning Projects (PP) and (3) Community Food Projects (CFP).”

Eligibility: T&TA: Nongovernmental organizations, state cooperative extension services, region food systems centers, Federal, State or Tribal agencies, and institutions of higher education. | PP & CFP: Private nonprofit entities.
