THIS GRANT’S FOCUS: Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Sex Education, Birth Control, Research
Deadline: June 23, 2022
“The primary focus of OASH is leading America to healthier lives, especially for those who are most vulnerable, including those who have suffered historic disparities. In support of this vision, OPA promotes health across the reproductive lifespan through innovative, evidence-based adolescent health and family planning programs, services, strategic partnerships, evaluation, and research. Research investigating teen pregnancy prevention approaches is designed to give youth the information and skills to promote adolescent sexual and reproductive health and prevent teen pregnancy across the United States, especially among vulnerable populations, including those who have suffered historic disparities.
We invite applications from qualified organizations for research-to-practice center grants. These centers, whether existing or newly created for the purposes of this funding, will synthesize and translate existing research into practice for health promotion and development of positive assets that will lead to adoption of healthy behaviors, improve adolescent sexual health more broadly, and ultimately help to reduce unintended teen pregnancy.”
