“This solicitation provides funding to support a national membership and accreditation organization to provide training and technical assistance on the development and implementation of national standards for children’s advocacy centers (CACs). Across the country, CACs provide a coordinated response to victims of child abuse through multidisciplinary teams composed of representatives from community agencies and professionals involved with intervention, prevention, prosecution, and investigation systems that respond to child abuse cases.

The goal of the Children’s Advocacy Centers Membership and Accreditation Program is to ensure that CACs, multidisciplinary teams, and allied professionals have support and national standards to guide their response to cases of child abuse. The objectives of this program are to enhance, maintain, and publish national standards for accreditation; maintain membership criteria for eligibility; disseminate information among current and potential member organizations; and facilitate communication among members.”

Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, for profit organizations other than small businesses, private institutions of higher education, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, others.
