“Awards are available for up to $500 for educators who have been impacted by school closures or other impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. Awardees will be given up to $500 to spend on:

  1. Professional development costs related to obtaining new skills
  2. Costs related to the implementation of distance learning during school closures.
  3. Materials, programs, or projects related to the reopening of schools after the pandemic.
  4. Materials, programs, or projects that integrate new ideas, knowledge, or resources into the classroom once schools reopen.
  5. Materials, programs, or professional development related to maximizing student learning and minimizing student learning loss.
Funds will be provided on a reimbursement basis. Reimbursement must be sought within one calendar year of being awarded.”

Eligibility:
“Awards are available to all PreK-12, full-time educators who have not received a scholarship or grant from AAE in the past year. Applicants must be employed by a U.S. educational institution.”
