“The Foundation’s mission is to utilize its assets to assist any organization which seeks to promote the arts or create programs that not only inspire and engage, but also teach. P/Arts stands for Philanthropic Arts and is our Foundation’s own initiative launched in 2019 hoping to catalyze non-profit, tax-exempt public charities, accredited schools, universities, government agencies or public agencies to implement or enhance programs utilizing art and art education in daily curricula, early childhood education and to assist alternative learners.

The P/Arts Program was created to encourage partnerships with non-profit, tax-exempt public charities, accredited schools or universities and government or public agencies who are using art and art education to:

  • Enhance or Transform Existing Outdated Public School Curricula
  • Motivate & Engage Children, Students and Alternative Learners
  • Deepen Professional Development for Teachers, Professors or Childcare Workers
  • Link School and Home
  • Use Evidence-Based, Art-Based Instruction
  • Help to Close the Education Achievement Gap

The proposed or existing program must impact at least 30 children or students within the first 6 months of implementation and no less than 60 by the end of 1 year.”

Eligibility: “Non-profit, tax-exempt public charities, accredited schools, universities, government agencies or public agencies. Applicants must be principally located in Florida, New York, New England, or the District of Columbia.”
