“The purpose of this program is to improve access to and delivery of comprehensive, quality oral health care for children, 0–17 years of age, by testing and establishing models of care utilizing three collective strategies:
- Enhanced integration of oral health care within MCH safety net services;
- Increased knowledge and skills among health care providers (including dental, non-dental clinical, and non-dental support service providers) for delivering optimal dental services; and
- Increased knowledge and awareness of preventive oral health practices among parents/caregivers to increase adoption of these behaviors including use of needed dental services…”
