“The purpose of the Technical Assistance and Dissemination to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities (TA&D) program is to promote academic achievement and to improve results for children with disabilities by providing technical assistance (TA), supporting model demonstration projects, disseminating useful information, and implementing activities that are supported by scientifically based research. The purposes of the Personnel Development to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities (PD) program are to: (1) Help address State-identified needs for personnel–in special education, related services, early intervention, and regular education–to work with children with disabilities; and (2) ensure that those personnel have the skills and knowledge–derived from practices that have been determined through research and experience to be successful–that are needed to serve those children.”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, for profit organizations other than small businesses, private institutions of higher education, public and State controlled institutions of higher education, independent school districts, special district governments, city or township governments, county governments, state governments, Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments), others.
