Grants for Programs Helping Underprivileged Youth

“The Ruddie Memorial Youth Foundation (RMYF) Innovation Grants support young organizations develop, test and, hopefully, eventually prove the effectiveness of untested, uncommon and otherwise unconventional services to help underprivileged youth reach their full potential. Advancement Grants are by invitation only and are limited to current and former RMYF grant recipients that have demonstrated that their innovative services effectively help youth reach their full potential and are sustainable. RMYF seeks to support programs that: (1) Are innovative and have a potentially replicable service concept; (2) Are offered by small or medium nonprofit organizations (operating budget of up to $1 million); (3) Promote scholastic, professional, athletic and/or other excellence in disadvantaged youth (0-25 years old); (4) Provide youth with new opportunities for health, personal growth and success and; (5) Are located in the greater metropolitan areas of Boston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, San Francisco and Washington, DC.”

Eligibility: “Only organizations that are US-based organizations with IRS nonprofit status and operate in one of these geographic areas: Boston MA, Los Angeles, CA, Milwaukee WI, San Francisco CA, and Washington DC.”
