“This funding opportunity will provide competitive grant funding through cooperative agreements to support up to 3 national centers for research on particular focus areas related to adolescent health and teen pregnancy prevention. The mission of the Centers will be to evaluate/assess best practices or evidence-based/evidence-informed approaches and make that information easily accessible to providers working with youth. Each of the Centers will conduct a focused program of adolescent health research in a specific focus area. Applications will be solicited to focus on one of five priority areas related to teen pregnancy prevention: (1) safe and supportive environments for youth, including LGBTQ youth, (2) healthy relationships, (3) meaningful connections to supportive adults, (4) foster care systems, and (5) engaging youth and families.”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, for profit organizations, small businesses, private institutions of higher education, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, independent school districts, special district governments, city or township governments, county governments, state governments, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments), individuals, others.
