“The Office of Community Services (OCS) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) will fund one 2-year cooperative agreement to support the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Learning Communities Resource Center (LCRC). The LCRC was established to promote the creation of learning communities within the CSBG Network. The LCRC will create learning communities that involve leadership, a motivated workforce, and an active role for low-income people in data-driven community services and strategies. A key focus will be to develop tools and processes to help Community Action Agencies and other CBSG eligible entities in making breakthrough gains on priority areas for community improvement.”

Eligibility: “Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education). Eligible applicants are CSBG-eligible entities, or statewide or local organizations or associations, with demonstrated expertise in providing training to individuals and organizations on methods of effectively addressing the needs of low-income families and communities. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement.”
