Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Centers Grants

“The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB)’s Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) program is accepting applications for the Basic Center Program (BCP). The purpose of the BCP is to provide temporary shelter and counseling services to youth who have left home without permission of their parents or guardians, have been forced to leave home, or other homeless youth who might otherwise end up in the law enforcement or in the child welfare, mental health, or juvenile justice systems. This funding opportunity is a 36-month project with three 12-month budget periods.”

Eligibility: “Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, special district governments, independent school districts, state governments, county governments, city or township governments, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, private institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments).”
