KSU Students Share Thoughts on GA ‘Campus Carry’ Bill

House Bill 859, also known as the “campus carry” bill, passed a Georgia Senate panel on Monday.

Later this week, the campus carry bill will go to a floor vote in the Senate, setting up for a possible final and complete passage of the bill.

If passed, the bill would allow anyone 21 or older with a weapons permit to carry a concealed gun on a Georgia public college, technical school or university campus, except for in fraternity and sorority houses, dormitories and at athletic events.

To hear from those who would be most affected by the legislation, Youth Today asked students at Kennesaw State University their thoughts about the campus carry bill.
