“The overarching goals of the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) Program are to enhance community capacity in research for which they will directly benefit; support collaborative intervention projects addressing health disparities; and accelerate the translation of findings into improved health and health outcomes. The purpose of this FOA is to support promising community interventions using CBPR principles and approaches aimed at reducing and eventually eliminating health disparities.”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, for profit organizations other than small businesses, Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments), private institutions of higher education, small businesses, Native American tribal governments (federally recognized), special district governments, independent school districts, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, county governments, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, city or township governments, state governments, others.
