TOOLBOX FOR EDUCATION – “Through our support for public education, we’re closing the funding gap facing many schools today. Each year, the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grants program contributes more than $5 million to fund improvements at public schools in the United States. Projects should fall into one of the following categories: technology upgrades, tools for STEM programs, facility renovations and safety improvements.”

COMMUNITY PARTNERS – “Lowe’s Community Partners grant program helps build better communities by providing monetary assistance to nonprofit organizations and municipalities looking for support of high-need projects such as: building renovations/upgrades, grounds improvements, technology upgrades as well as safety improvements.”

Funder:  Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation
Eligibility: “The Foundation provides funding only to 501(c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations and public agencies in communities where Lowe’s operates stores and distribution centers.”
Amount:  Toolbox for Education: $2,000 to $100,000. “A large majority of grants will be given in the $2,000 to $5,000 range. Most larger projects fall between $10,000 and $25,000. Critical need projects over $25,000 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Community Partners: $5,000 to $100,000, with most projects falling between $10,000 and $25,000.
