If you plan to apply for funds under the upcoming Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support program, several grant workshops are scheduled this month and next to help you improve your chances of success. Community anti-drug coalitions may apply for DFC funding to combat youth substance abuse under an application process expected to open soon. Taking part in the workshops is not required, however; and while they are free, travel, accommodation and food costs are not covered. If you cannot attend one of three workshops – in Fort Worth, Texas, on Jan. 26; Salt Lake City on Jan. 28; and National Harbor, Md., on Feb. 12 – the information will be taped and posted online by the end of January.
