Here the scientists who make up the nonprofit Coalition for Evidence-Based Policy summarize the findings of well-designed randomized control trials that meet their strenuous criteria and “have important policy implications.” Topics include youth development, violence prevention, education, substance abuse prevention and treatment, and work and welfare. Users are encouraged to submit suggestions for review, although the coalition believes only 40 to 50 existing studies meet their standards for inclusion.
