“This funding opportunity seeks to support local implementation of juvenile indigent defense practices and services that strengthen and improve the representation of youth involved in the juvenile justice system. This program will address barriers and gaps within the juvenile justice system for indigent youth to reduce reoffending and decrease recidivism.”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), private institutions of higher education, public/state controlled institutions of higher education, city or township government, county governments, state governments, special district governments, others.
