“The AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation is dedicated to preventing and mitigating adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), which will help drive positive outcomes for children’s health and help set a stronger foundation for a lifetime of wellness. In addition to preventing and mitigating ACEs, it promotes protective and compensatory childhood experiences (sometimes referred to as “PACEs”), which can counteract the effects of ACEs. Grants are made based on three pillars: (1) Empowered families; (2) Healing behaviors; (3) Access to health care.”

Eligibility: “Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations with annual revenue under $10 million located in: Delaware, District of Columbia, Louisiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina.”
