“The Motorola Solutions Foundation, which has donated $100 million over the past 10 years, aims to partner with organizations that are creating safer cities and thriving communities, and prioritizes underrepresented and/or underserved populations, including people of color and women, within the three focus areas below:

  1. Technology and engineering education: From engaging students through hands-on engineering activities like design, coding and robotics to providing scholarship and workforce placement for underrepresented groups, we’re committed to creating opportunities for future innovators.
  2. First responder programming: We support first responders via programs that provide mental wellness and stress management training, scholarships to families of fallen first responders, safety preparedness to schools and leadership development for underrepresented groups.
  3. Blended first responder programming and technology/engineering education programs.”

Eligibility:
“The organization applying for grant funding must be registered as a 501(c)3 organization, NCES school or school district in the United States, or is able to provide completed charitable equivalency forms if they are outside the United States.”
