The goal of the program is: “To develop and implement a Children’s Healthy Weight Collaborative Improvement and Innovation Network (CoIIN), with the goal of increasing the proportion of children and young adults ages birth to 21 years who fall within a healthy weight range by supporting states to adopt evidence-based or evidence-informed policies and practices related to nutrition, physical activity, and breastfeeding.”

Eligibility: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, for profit organizations other than small businesses, small businesses, private institutions of higher education, public and state controlled institutions of higher education, independent school districts, special district governments, city or township governments, county governments, state governments, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized).
