The BOOST Conference is the largest, most recognized, and comprehensive global convening for after school, expanded learning, and out-of-school time professionals. Set in a retreat-like atmosphere in Palm Springs, CA, this extraordinary annual event will rejuvenate your passion, boost your creativity for quality programming, and provide tools and resources that will inspire you to create change.
We invite you to join us, and 2,500 global educators April 30-May 3, 2019 to inspire youth, inspire learning, and inspire change.
This year, BOOST is excited to welcome two impactful keynote speakers, Dr. Shawn Ginwright and Dr. Bertice Berry, to the stage. Dr. Shawn Ginwright is an Associate Professor of Education in the Africana Studies Department, and Senior Research Associate for the Cesar Chavez Institute for Public Policy at San Francisco State University. Dr. Ginwright will talk with BOOST attendees about radical healing and community change, providing practical strategies and activities that can be used to improve school climate, restore the social-emotional health, and establish equity in schools and youth-serving agencies.
