The launch of this site gives a new resource to adults working to help California foster youth. After creating a free account, members can surf through fact sheets explaining legislation and links to current news, and they can post or answer questions. The site, a project of the National Center for Youth Law, the California Foster Youth Education Task Force and the Stuart Foundation, contains information on such foster care topics as school enrollment, juvenile court proceedings and mental health. Site users’ interactivity extends beyond posting and answering questions – members can also share links to relevant news stories.
