The William T. Grant Foundation has awarded grants to four research teams for youth-related projects. The teams selected, listed by the head researcher, are:
• Charles Glisson, University of Tennessee, $1.5 million for “Testing the ARC Organizational Intervention Strategy for Community and School-based Youth Service Programs.”
• James Kim, Harvard University, and Jonathan Guryan, University of Chicago, $88,000 for “Proposal for Multi-District Randomized Controlled Trial of a Voluntary Summer Reading Intervention.”
• Marc Brackett, Susan Rivers and Peter Salovey, Yale University, $179,000 for “Using Emotional Literacy to Improve Youth-Serving Organizations.”
• Jane Hannaway, Urban Institute, $54,000 for “Analysis of Intra-Classroom Correlation: Implication for Random Assignment.”
