“Colocation America proudly supports the development and integration of STEM learning opportunities for youth in the communities we serve. One of the ways we support these activities is by funding innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) youth programs. Youth organizations and K-12 educators with STEM programming may apply and be awarded upwards of $7,500 for their new or reoccurring program. The purpose of this funding is to increase student interest and encourage more students to pursue a career in STEM-related fields. STEM Innovation Grant requests include programs or projects that: (1) Provide students with developmentally appropriate opportunities to grow an interest in STEM, (2) Develop, improve, or expand resources and/or curriculum available in STEM classrooms and other learning environments, (3) Ensure students have the core competencies needed to pursue a career or degree in STEM fields, and/or (4) Provide activities that support student application of STEM knowledge to real-life applications.”

Eligibility: “Nonprofit Charitable Organizations classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service. Public School Districts, Private/Public Elementary, and/or Secondary Schools with STEM-specific programming. Programs must serve students in one of the following metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia, Boston, and/or New York City”
