Snowy Washington weather delayed a Feb. 9 conference call to discuss the 2010 Social Innovation Fund, but the Corporation for National and Community Service rescheduled it for Feb. 16, when organization Chairman Steve Goldsmith will announce program details. Up to $50 million will be awarded to five to seven intermediary organizations, which in turn will support community-based organizations working in areas that include youth development and school improvement. During the call, corporation officials will discuss policy changes to the notice of funding availability (NOFA ) following a month-long public comment period, eligibility for funds and other matters. Early details on the program are online; watch this page for updated information.
