“SummerTime Kids is a grant initiative of Stark Community Foundation. Guided by a volunteer committee and Foundation staff, it provides grants up to $2,000 to imaginative and unique summer youth programs. Preference will be given to programs that:
- Challenge youth to learn, grow and build character through educational programs and activities
- Engage youth in arts, culture and outdoor exploration
- Introduce youth to new experiences on area college campuses
- Reading programs geared toward improving literacy
- Fill a need or gap in a low-income area such as: provide healthy summer meals and snacks and provide transportation to and from activities
- Field Trips.”

Eligibility: “A tax-exempt private agency, 501(c)(3) organization (that is recognized as a public charity) or government entity located within Stark County, Ohio only or directly benefiting Stark County.”
