Traveling to Canada as a little girl was life-changing for Arlesia Crooms, who is now the program manager of the Central Savannah River Area Boys and Girls Club. Remembering her own childhood experiences, Crooms uses travel to broaden the horizons of her own mentees today.
“Part of making them hungry [for knowledge] is to show them, let them see some of the world,” Crooms said.
