W.K. Kellogg Foundation/Kellogg Leadership for Community Change
KLCC acknowledges that “conventional approaches to training leaders often overlook important community voices.” To ensure a diversity of community perspectives, the initiative uses a variety of social, economic, cultural and experiential criteria to define and identify program participants.
The workbook is intended to help organizations use community-based collective leadership as a tool for making community change, increase the leadership abilities of participants, and increase opportunities for community leaders. Lessons learned by 11 communities involved in the initiative help illustrate the stages and elements of community change. Free. 60 pages. (269) 968-1611, http://www.klccleadership.org.
