This new site marks the launch of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America’s campaign to engage Spanish-speaking parents in the effort to combat drug abuse by their children. The site, with an English version at http://www.timetotalk.org, provides guides and tips for parents and other caregivers about how to talk with kids about the risks of drugs and alcohol. The effort is grounded in research showing that children whose parents speak to them about drugs are far less likely to use drugs than those who do not receive these messages at home.
