The Lingle Directory

www.lingledirectory.org

This directory profiles alternative, privately owned juvenile residential facilities for youth at risk of confinement in prisons, jails and detention centers. A search feature retrieves programs by name, state or special population (e.g., gang members). Facilities can complete an online questionnaire in order to be included in the database. The directory was created by the defunct National Consortium of Alternatives for Youth at Risk and is now maintained by the National Center for Juvenile Justice, a program of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
